FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental medicine and veterinary surgery, and can be used to induce pseudarthrosis of the forearm bones in rabbits. A radius defect is formed in the middle third of the diaphysis, 5 mm long. While maintaining the integrity of the ulna, bone fragments of the radius are skeletonized from the periosteum, followed by a four-minute exposure of the osteotomy area with 96% alcohol, creating diastasis and fixing them with a bone plate using four screws 2 mm in diameter and 6 mm long.

EFFECT: method provides delayed bone union and development of pseudarthrosis up to 60 days after surgery due to the use of this technique.
