FIELD: veterinary traumatology; orthopedics.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in preliminary preparation of solution for treatment of implants (pins, nails, screws, osteofixation devices, bone plates). Solution used is an osteoconductive and osteoinductive coating based on hydroxyapatite, methyluracil, amoxicillin, polylactide, obtained by dissolving in 50 ml of chloroform, at an ambient temperature of 22 °C and continuous stirring on a magnetic stirrer, 1 g of polylactide until a thick transparent suspension is formed. Then, with continuous stirring, methyluracil, hydroxyapatite and amoxicillin are successively added in amount of 400 mg of each component every 20 minutes for 5 times to produce a milky-colored suspension, into which sterile surgical implants are lowered 5 times, 10 s each, with interval of 2 minutes until a thin film with thickness of 1–1.5 mm is formed. Thereafter, the implants with the applied layer are placed in a stand and lyophilized once at temperature of 3–5 °C and at pressure of 5·10-1 Pa for 30 min with subsequent preoperative sterilization of implants by autoclaving or in a dry heat cabinet.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of pragmatisation of reparative osteogenesis.
