FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a strain of Dunaliella salina green microalgae for the production of its biomass in industrial conditions. It relates to a microalgae biotechnology, and it is intended for organization of large-scale cultivation of D. salina to obtain biomass, which is a source of antioxidants. A practical value of the invention is related to a growing need of medical, food, and cosmetic industries for natural biologically active additives and pigments.
EFFECT: claimed strain preserves a stable high growth rate not only in laboratory conditions with control of all growing parameters, but also in open-type cultivators in naturally changing temperature and light conditions, which allows for its use for the production of D. salina biomass in industrial conditions.
