FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of resistance welding and can be used in the restoration and hardening of parts. The filler strip is made of alloyed heat-resistant steel with dimensions corresponding to the dimensions of the part surface to be restored. On the restored surface of the part, blind conical perforations are made, and the perforation pitch in the longitudinal and transverse directions is chosen equal to the pitch of the welds. Holes on the part surface are made with a base diameter equal to half of the perforation pitch and a depth equal to 0.5-0.7 of the hole base diameter. The tape is pressed against the surface to be restored and it is run in with a roller-electrode when welding current pulses are applied to make welds. Roll-electrode rolling is carried out along the jumpers between the rows of holes, and the welding mode is selected from the condition of complete closure of the volume of holes on the surface of the part.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the strength of welding of filler strips made of alloyed and heat-resistant steels to a base made of structural steels.
