FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: before welding the combined filler is made which contains a wire from low-carbonaceous steel passed through a thin-walled tube from non-ferrous metal. The tube has holes punched on its one side. The combined filler is welded to a detail with the punched side using contact welding by a roller electrode.
EFFECT: invention allows to form on a detail a metal coating with continuous uniform layer from non-ferrous metal with sufficient strength for its subsequent machining.
