FIELD: physical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: The invention relates to physical chemistry and can be used to determine the electrical conductivity of complex multicomponent mixtures of molten salts used as a medium for many technological processes. A method for determining the electrical conductivity of complex multicomponent mixtures of molten salts involves splitting a multicomponent mixture into binary or triple mixtures of components of molten salts, each of these mixtures is manufactured, electrical conductivity is measured and the electrical conductivity of a multicomponent mixture of molten salts is determined by additive addition of the values of the measured electrical conductivity of each manufactured binary or triple mixture of components.
EFFECT: The present invention increases the accuracy of determining the electrical conductivity of real multicomponent mixtures of molten salts with a strong interaction of components that are not close to ideal, with the possibility of replacing the melt components with simulators.
