FIELD: military technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for manufacturing a high-explosive fragmentation charge housing, a method for electrochemical formation of a system of fragmentation elements of the charge housing, a brass cathode for implementing the methods and a high-explosive fragmentation charge housing. A system of fragmentation elements is formed on the inner surface of the charge housing by the electrochemical method for selective etching using a brass cathode. On the brass cathode on the adhesive layer, the profile is pre-drilled to the brass cathode material, through the adhesive layer. The profile consists of mutually intersecting grooves arranged along a helical trajectory corresponding to the profile of a high-explosive fragmentation charge system formed on the inner surface of the housing from fragmentation elements located along a helical trajectory. In the process of applying an electric current to the brass cathode in a saline solution on the housing, which is a positive electrode, local sections of the shell of the high-explosive fragmentation charge located opposite the slots in the adhesive layer of the brass cathode are etched. The sections of the housing of the high-explosive fragmentation charge located opposite the adhesive layer are not etched.
EFFECT: simplifying, increasing the safety of the process of manufacturing the charge housing with fragmentation elements and increasing the accuracy of manufacturing a given profile of fragmentation elements.
