FIELD: inert gases purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of inert gases from impurities and can be used in the chemical, metallurgical, energy, electronic and other industries. The unit contains a gas purification unit from oxygen with an oxygen pump with an electrochemical membrane made of a solid oxide electrolyte based on stabilized zirconium dioxide, a moisture and carbon dioxide removal unit containing a molecular sieve of zeolites or their mixtures of the NaA and/or NaX and/or CaA type, a purification unit from other impurities, structurally divided into a hydrogen absorption unit and a nitrogen and carbon monoxide absorption unit. In this case, the hydrogen absorption unit contains a mixture of palladium manganese oxide and a molecular sieve of zeolites or mixtures thereof of the NaA and/or NaX and/or CaA type. The nitrogen and carbon monoxide absorption block is designed for low-temperature physical adsorption of nitrogen and carbon monoxide on a molecular sieve at cryogenic temperatures and consists of two identical alternately operating adsorbers-desorbers with implemented sorbent regeneration in the form of a molecular sieve, as well as a cryogenic cooler.
EFFECT: unit makes it possible to purify inert gases from moisture and carbon dioxide, as well as from other impurities without the use of non-regenerated sorbents, and purify them from oxygen without the use of sorbents.
