FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of inert gases from impurities and can be used primarily in the design of a plant for purification of impurities from moisture, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon oxide and inert gas medium of large-volume process chambers for testing mock-ups of apparatus for pyrochemical processing of spent nuclear fuel. Plant contains a unit for purification from moisture and carbon dioxide, including an adsorber-desorber with a molecular sieve from a mixture of zeolites of NaA and NaX type, a unit for cleaning gases from oxygen, comprising an oxygen pump with an electrochemical membrane from a solid oxide electrolyte based on stabilized zirconium dioxide, nitrogen and carbon oxide removal unit containing adsorber-desorber with molecular sieve of NaX type zeolite. Besides, the unit includes a cryogenic cooler and a circulation pump. There are gas connections in the gas line of the plant between units, as well as between units located in each unit of the plant, including adsorbers-desorbers, a cryogenic cooler, an oxygen pump and a circulation pump. Plant additionally contains a gas circulation unit consisting of a circulating pump placed in a sealed container, which is located at the beginning of the gas line of the plant; gas connections between the units, as well as between units located in each unit of the plant, are made in a vacuum design. Adsorber-desorber of the nitrogen and carbon oxide removal unit is placed in the cryogenic cooler.

EFFECT: apparatus enables efficient removal of impurities from moisture, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon oxide and carbon dioxide of an inert gas medium of large-volume process chambers for testing mock-ups of apparatus for pyrochemical processing of spent nuclear fuel.
