FIELD: insulating materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insulating materials used in the construction of pipeline transport to isolate the outer surface of metal pipes in order to protect against corrosion. A multilayer insulating tape coating for pipelines is proposed, containing a mastic layer based on an elastomer composition, a reinforcing glass mesh recessed into the mastic layer, an anti-adhesive material on one side of the mastic layer, and a protective polymer film on the opposite side of the mastic layer. The elastomeric composition of the mastic layer contains polybutene, ethylene-propylene rubber, fillers based on mica, talc powder or/and chalk, non-polar solvent, hydrotreated naphthenic distillate and organophilic bentonite powder with the following content of components, wt.%: polybutene - 20-50; ethylene propylene rubber - 15-35; mica - 10-20; talc and/or chalk - 5-15; non-polar solvent - 8-20; softener-plasticizer based on hydrotreated naphthenic distillate - 1.0-2.5; organophilic bentonite powder - 1.0-2.5.

EFFECT: multi-layer insulating tape coating for pipelines with a mastic layer has increased adhesive and anti-corrosion properties to pipeline surfaces while providing cathodic protection of the pipeline surface at a level that prevents electrochemical corrosion.
