SUBSTANCE: absorbent element (4) of the absorbent product (1) includes an absorbent sheet (42) including two fibrous sheets (421, 422) and absorbent polymer particles (423) placed between the fibrous sheets. The elastic element (9, 9) is placed between the absorbent element (4) and the top sheet (2) along each of the respective side edges of the absorbent element (4). The absorbent element (4) is configured in such a way that when each of the elastic elements (9) is contracted, each of the respective sides of the absorbent element (4) can rise, while the connection point (67) between the absorbent element (4) and the element located on the side not facing the skin, serves as a base place. The absorbent sheet (42) is present in the rising parts of the absorbent element (4) which can rise when the elastic elements (9) are pulled together.
