FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, intended for use in oceanology. The method for measuring the pressure of a liquid or gas with devices with membranes and strain gauges is that one or more membranes are placed (m+1)(n+1) -1 separate strain gauges, which have significant differences in sensitivity β to pressure P and sensitivity α to temperature θ, whose mathematical model is the product of polynomials of degree m for pressure and degree n for temperature, form a system of linear algebraic equations from the transformation functions of strain gauges, measure the relative changes in strain gauge resistances and calculate the measured pressure. In the device for measuring pressure according to the claimed method, a DC generator is used, containing a transistor with a current-setting resistor and the first differential amplifier, the first input of which is connected to the output of the DC voltage divider, the second input is connected to the emitter of the transistor, and the output is fed to the base of the transistor, the collector of the transistor through k current switches and strain gauges are fed to the input of a DC voltage source, the voltage outputs from the strain gauges through k potential switches are fed to the first input of the second differential amplifier, the second input of which is connected to the output of the DC voltage source, and the output is fed to the input of an analog-to-digital converter, the output of which is the output of the informative signal.
EFFECT: reduction of the error of the nonlinearity of strain gauges and the influence of temperature.
