FIELD: image processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of image processing, more specifically to a medical decision support system based on the analysis of medical images. A medical decision support system is proposed, comprising: at least one device for obtaining medical images located in a medical organization and configured to form at least one medical image based on a diagnostic study of at least one organ and/or cavity of the examined patient and transmission of said at least one medical image to the data transmission device; at least one data transmission device located in a medical organization and configured to generate data to be processed based on the received at least one medical image and transfer the data to be processed to the central medical information system (CMIS). Moreover, the data to be processed are a package containing at least two medical images; CMIS configured to receive at least one packet from at least one data transmission device, change the size and content of said at least one packet depending on the requirements and / or capabilities of at least one device for determining the pathology and transmitting at least at least one modified package to at least one pathology device; and by at least one device for determining the pathology, configured to extract said at least one medical image from the received at least one package, determine whether there is in the said at least one organ and/or cavity of the examined patient on the mentioned at least one pathology in a medical image, generating a report that contains at least one file containing an indication of the presence or absence of pathology, and transmitting the report at CMIS. Moreover, the definition of pathology is performed using a neural network previously trained for this type of diagnostic study. Moreover, the result of determining the pathology is intended to support the adoption of a medical decision on the state of the said at least one organ and/or cavity of the examined patient and/or on the treatment of the examined patient.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of making a medical decision with increased accuracy, increasing the availability and quality of care medical services, reducing the requirements for the personnel of medical organizations performing diagnostic tests, and for the devices included in the system.
