FIELD: health care.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to health care, in particular to neurosurgery. Craniotomy is performed with dissection of the dura mater with the base to the sagittal sinus. The cushion of the corpus callosum is accessed. The corpus callosum is dissected longitudinally along the midline forward and posteriorly through a roller with visualization of the Galena Vein. The medial and lateral longitudinal ligaments of the gray covering of the corpus callosum are dissected from both sides with the intersection of the isthmus of the cingulate gyrus and the arch on the side of the lesion. The corpus callosum is separated in the transverse direction at the border of the formation of the roller. The dura mater is sutured. The bone flap is fixed and the wound is sutured in layers.
EFFECT: present invention involves a method that enables to increase the efficacy of treatment of drug-resistant multi-focal and generalized epilepsy, reduce the frequency of epileptic seizures, improve the cognitive, sensory, motor and trophic functions of patients.
