FIELD: paints.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of visualization systems, calibration targets, control and measuring devices, lightguides, and reflectors. A method for application of coating includes application of a dye suspension to a base by spraying. The dye suspension includes evenly dispersed carbon black and a binder in a solvent. The mass ratio of the dye to the binder is more than 40%. The binder is selected from vinyl acetate homopolymer and vinyl acetate-based copolymer, vinylneodecanoate, and composite esters of (meth)acrylic acid. The solvent is selected from ethyl acetate, acetone, propyl acetate, butyl acetate, methylethylketone, ethylisopropylketone, cyclopentanone, 2-hexanon. When applying coating, part of the solvent is evaporated, which leads to obtainment of porous coating with a density of up to 0.75 g·cm-3.
EFFECT: reduction in reflective ability of coating.
