SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of encoding/decoding images by means of internal prediction using reference sample filtration and to a method for transmitting a bit stream. Proposed is a method for decoding images, including the following stages: obtaining internal prediction mode information for the current block from the bit stream; determining the internal prediction mode of the current block based on the internal prediction mode information and internal prediction mode of the neighbouring block located near the current block; retrieving the value of the first filter flag to use filtration of the internal prediction reference sample of the current block based on the encoding parameters for the current block; selecting an interpolation filter to be used for internal prediction of the current block, based on the first filter flag; and generating an internal prediction block for the current block using the selected interpolation filter.
