FIELD: fat and oil industry; agriculture; chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for beeswax recycling consists in placement of a nickel-containing catalyst with the active metal weight of 0.25-6.7 g in a reactor. Next, distilled water with a volume of 100-110 cm3 is placed in the reactor, the reactor is sealed, a gas phase is saturated with hydrogen, the reactor is heated to 70-76°C. Then, source wax is placed in the reactor, when heating to a liquid phase, in the ratio from 1:6 to 1:9, for treatment with hydrogen in the presence of the catalyst, mixing is started, mixing is stopped after the system absorbs hydrogen in a volume of 34-78 cm3, the content of the reactor is transferred to a centrifuge, clarified wax is extracted after separation of the catalyst.
EFFECT: invention allows for an increase in a degree of wax clarifying, while saving a melting point, transparency, and characteristic aroma, reduction in toxicity of wastewater.
