FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the active desoxidant of liquid and refractory hot and cold slags in the non-ferrous metallurgy furnace and can be used to treat aluminum and aluminum-based aluminum, gas reflective, heating alternating currents and induction over furnaces. Active desoxidant of liquid and refined hot and cold slags in the furnace contains silicon dioxide powder and a mixture of the following components, wt.%: NACL - at least 30, KCL - no more than 8, SiO2 - at least 35, Al2O3 - no more than 5, Fe2O3 - no more than 1.5, CAO - no more than 5, MGO - no more than 1.5.
EFFECT: reduction of charge melt time by 15-25%, reduction of aluminum waste, grain refinement, increase in density, reduction of porosity score, prevention of oxidative reaction by preventing saturation of the alloy with hydrogen, oxygen, lowering of ladle-riser pouring temperature.
