FIELD: underwater navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater navigation, in particular to hydroacoustic navigation devices for locating and receiving information messages by means of underwater objects moving in the deep sea. Receiver is placed in navigation object equipped with on-board control system and capable of reaching underwater sound channel centerline. The receiver determines its own current geographical coordinates via measured distances and decodes incoming information messages. The receiver consists of a hydroacoustic receiver, a detection device and a coordinate calculator. The detection device provides the formation of current input code combination taking into account the carrier frequency Doppler shift, and the coordinate calculator uses navigation and information signals code combination as reference signals recorded in the memory unit for cross-correlation processing.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility to create automatic device for receiving signals from navigation network deployed in the shelf zone and consisting of a codopulse navigation or information signals synchronous low-frequency emitters system.
