FIELD: polymer composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to determine defects in products made of ceramic and polymer composite materials having the form of hollow bodies of revolution. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that the inner surface of the product is heated by an air flow and a defect is detected by changing the state of the temperature field on the outer surface of the product, while heating is carried out by a laminar air flow with a temperature of 40-70°C, and the change in the state of the temperature field is recorded in the spectral range 3-5 µm within a discernible temperature difference of 0.02°-0.05°C.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of determining defects in the form of discontinuities, delaminations and foreign inclusions.
