FIELD: detection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for detection of prohibited objects. A system for detection of prohibited objects contained in the baggage contains a cart defining a case and containing a bottom made with the possibility of reception of a baggage unit, at least one sidewall, which has a lower part connected to the bottom and an upper part opposite to the lower part and forming a through opening, while the bottom and at least sidewall together limit the case, and inspection means containing at least one row of microwave converters placed in the upper part of at least one of the specified sidewalls, so that lowering the baggage in the case leads to movement of the baggage relatively to inspection means and, consequently, to automatic scanning of the baggage with inspection means.
EFFECT: elimination of the use of a conveyor belt, as well as simultaneous elimination of the use of X-ray equipment complex in operation and requiring the presence of a qualified specialist for operation with this X-ray equipment, and, in addition, simultaneous provision of a possibility of more reliable detection of dielectric substances.
