FIELD: detection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for detection of illegal objects in the baggage. A system for detection of illegal objects in the baggage contains a cart defining a cavity opened from above for reception of the baggage and its full accommodation and inspection means located on and in sidewalls limiting the cavity so that to provide a possibility of thorough baggage inspection, using inspection means, when it rests on a lower wall of the cavity, wherein inspection means contain microwave converters located on at least two opposite sidewalls.
EFFECT: elimination of the use of a conveyor belt, as well as simultaneous elimination of the use of X-ray equipment complex in operation and requiring the presence of a qualified specialist for operation with this X-ray equipment, and, in addition, simultaneous provision of a possibility of more reliable detection of dielectric substances.
