SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to detectors designed to detect objects or materials that are not allowed to be brought into a controlled access zone. The essence of the invention is that a device, designed to detect objects or substances brought by a person that are not allowed to be brought into a controlled access zone, contains analysis means configured to analyze signals from receiving windings to detect the presence of a metal object brought by a person that moves in the specified passage formed between two racks, as well as to analyze signals from microwave receivers corresponding to microwave signals transmitted from one rack to the opposite rack, and microwave signals distributed from one rack and reflected to the same rack to detect the presence of dielectric material brought by a person that moves in the passage, and to set spatial correlations existing between metal objects and detected dielectric materials.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of detection, increase in throughput capacity of the device for detecting prohibited objects or substances.
