SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for the production of hydrogen-enriched water, nutraceuticals, cosmetic products, pharmaceutical preparations and other products. In one of embodiments, the invention relates to a composition, for example a tablet, including magnesium metal, at least one water-soluble acid, and a binder. Magnesium metal and at least one water-soluble acid may be present in amounts sufficient for maintaining pH of less than 7, for example, during a certain period of time after the reaction, and concentration of at least 0.5 mM of H2 after the reaction in 50 ml of water in a container, for example a closed or open container, for example, at least 0.5 mM of H2 after the reaction in 100 ml of water or at least 0.5 mM of H2 after the reaction in 500 ml of water. The composition may also include a lubricant.
EFFECT: obtaining hydrogen-enriched water.
