FIELD: noise suppression.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of reduction in noise of noise sources, namely to devices for noise suppression. A gas flow noise muffler consists of a case and a channel having an inlet and a cone-shaped expending outlet, an element in the form of a body of rotation, made of sound-absorbing material, overlapping the outlet with the possibility of adjustment and possibility of placement of a removable element of a cone shape, coming inside the channel, while the case is made of thin-sheet metal in the form of cone diffusor (1) with channel (2) expanding along a gas flow, inlet (3) of a smaller diameter, and outlet (4) of a larger diameter. In diffusor (1), from a side of outlet (4) and along a perimeter of the latter, longitudinal cuts are made to form recesses and protrusions alternating with recesses, and protrusions are bent towards a longitudinal axis of diffusor (1) to partial overlap outlet (4) and form reflective shields (5), and the element in the form of a body of rotation is made in the form of a replaceable insert, in the form of truncated cone (6) installed in channel (2) of diffusor (1) to overlap outlet (4) of the latter with the possibility of adjustment of a gas flow rate at an output from diffusor (1), while a base of a smaller diameter of truncated cone (6) is located from a side of inlet (3) of diffusor (1), and a base of a larger diameter of truncated cone (6) has a possibility of mechanical contact with reflective shields (5).

EFFECT: increase in manufacturability, simplification of a structure, reduction in overall dimensions.
