SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to continuous etching installation (101) for processing of metal products (109) in the form of a strip or a pipe and an etching method. Installation (101) contains several technological baths (102) with an acid solution, each of which is separated into several turbulence cells (114), an acid solution recirculation system, in which the solution preferably flows out of each technological bath as a result of overflow, comes along outlet pipe (103) to outer recirculation tank (104), from where the acid solution is returned with pump (105) along inlet pipe (108) to the technological bath, passing, if necessary, through heat exchanger (107) for heating, and device (124, 126) for heating of metal product (109), located along a flow in front of specified several technological baths (102). The heating device is induction heating system (124) and/or water irrigation tank (126). In the last of several technological baths (102), there are first drain (152) of a solution with a low Fe concentration and second drain (150) of a solution with an increased Fe concentration, which supply the corresponding recirculation tank containing first chamber (158) for a low Fe concentration and second chamber (156) for an increased Fe concentration, separated with overflow partition (154).
