SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to modified polymers based on conjugated dienes. Disclosed is a modified polymer based on a conjugated diene, which has a unimodal molecular weight distribution curve, molecular weight distribution from 1.0 to less than 1.7 and includes at one end of the chain a functional group obtained from a modifier of formula 1, where in formula 1, R1-R8 each independently represents an alkyl group with 1–20 carbon atoms, L1 and L2 each independently represents an alkylene group with 1–20 carbon atoms, and n represents integer from 2 to 4. At the other end of the chain, the disclosed polymer has a functional group derived from a modification initiator.

EFFECT: disclosed modified polymer based on a conjugated diene has excellent processability, good tensile properties and viscoelastic properties.
