FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: production of nanostructured powders based on nickel-zinc ferrites, used as the basis for photocatalytically active materials. The method involves dissolving the starting reagents in the form of iron(III) nitrate Fe(NO3)3, nickel(II) nitrate Ni(NO3)2, zinc nitrate Zn(NO3)2, aminoacetic acid C2H5NO2 in bidistilled water, heating until self-ignition is achieved, subsequent heat treatment of the resulting solution combustion product and its grinding. The starting reagents are dissolved to obtain an aqueous solution containing 0.05-0.10 mol/l iron(III) nitrate, 0.025-0.05 mol/l nickel(II) nitrate, 0.025-0.05 mol/l zinc nitrate and 0.01-0.05 mol/l aminoacetic acid, and heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 400-600°C for 2-4 hours.

EFFECT: obtaining nanopowder with a smaller particle size and a high degree of crystallinity up to 80-100%.
