FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in manufacturing an abrasive tool on a ceramic bundle. Method includes the stages of dosing and mixing the components of the moulding mixture, shaping semi-finished abrasive tools, drying in a group, conducting heat treatment and machining. Said group drying of the semi-finished abrasive tools is conducted in the microwave field of a UHF chamber with a 2,450 MHz frequency until the residual moisture content value of 0.4 to 0.6% is reached.
EFFECT: higher quality of manufacturing an abrasive tool on a ceramic bundle due to the multiple reduction of the drying time.
