SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake pad (10), while the pad contains sole (1) with outer side (14) and with inner side (13) and overlay (2) of friction material, fixed on inner side (13), while the overlay is limited with friction side (26), mounting side (20), inner edge (23), outer edge (24), rear edge (21), front edge (22). At the same time, the overlay has at least one assembled groove (3) opened on friction side (26) and located at least partially near rear edge (21), while the sole contains at least one suction hole (17) communicating via fluid with specified at least one assembled groove (3), wherein this hole (17) is connected to an under-pressure source via communication means. Specified at least one assembled groove (3) is continued on at least one of its ends with channel (90), outer end (91) of which passes outside of friction side (26) through input (911), and inner end (92) of which passes to specified at least one groove (3) through output (922), which forms a sharp cross-section transition with specified at least one groove (3) in such a way that, during operation, under-pressure is present between input (911) and groove (3) from both sides of channel (90).
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of catching particles and dust with an assembled groove.
