SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gastroenterology, and can be used for non-invasive diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection, during which a base air sample is taken. After that, carbamide is taken, labeled with 99% enriched carbon 13C and added to water, additionally containing 2 g of citric acid. Then, test air samples are taken three times - 10, 20 and 30 minutes after taking urea. After that, the presence of Helicobacter pylori is determined based on the difference between the base and test samples. Carbamide is taken at a dosage of 25 mg, while it is added to 150 ml of water. The presence of Helicobacter pylori is determined by exceeding the concentration of 13C carbon in at least one of the test samples by 2.5% or more compared to the base sample.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing sensitivity and specificity, reducing the duration of diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection by analyzing test air samples after taking urea labeled with enriched carbon, according to the developed method.
