FIELD: BMS operation controlling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling the operation of a BMS using an external signal interconnected with a vehicle control unit. The method consists in applying the following steps: an external signal line detection step; a CAN network command receiving step; a step of detecting a start signal of the key and an operation mode of determining the drive mode; BMS operation phase for battery operation. The step of detecting an external signal line is to determine whether a key start signal or a charger signal is applied. The key start signal is generated by the key and is intended for driving. The charger signal is recognized when connected to a device that provides power to charge the vehicle. The CAN network command characterizes the drive command or charger command message over the CAN network line. The detection of the key start signal and the drive mode determination operation mode characterizes the receipt of the drive command message and the charging mode when the charger signal is detected and charging when the charger command message is received. The operation of the battery operation BMS occurs in one of the drive modes and charging modes determined in the operating mode detection step. If a key-off signal is detected during the BMS operation phase, the auto-on signal for self-discharge is kept on for a predetermined time to back up the data.
EFFECT: provision of backup copies of records is achieved.
