SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is described, including a method for selective hydrolysis of S-enantiomer of alpha-haloalkanoic acid (options). In one of options, the method includes stages of provision of racemate of R-enantiomer and S-enantiomer of alpha-haloalkanoic acid, provision of polypeptide having dehalogenase activity with an amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO. 1, and reaction of selective hydrolysis of racemate for 4-6 hours. The method provides obtainment of excess of R-enantiomer from 90.0 to 99.9%, after 4-6 hours.
EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of methods for selective hydrolysis of S-enantiomers of alpha-haloalkanoic acids.
