FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. A device comprises a control unit comprising a microprocessor connected to an air pressure sensor, a pinch cuff connected to the air pressure sensor and representing a gas-filled cuff with a gas tube, and a pulse wave sensor connected to the control unit. The pulse wave sensor is fixed in the position below the pinch cuff according to the arterial blood flow direction. The microprocessor is configured for the real-time examination of a number of pulse wave amplitudes detected by the pulse wave sensor during a slow increase from zero, and a respective pressure in the pinch cuff to determine a systolic pressure on the basis of pulse wave amplitudes nearby systolic pressure showing a generally linear variation of pulse wave amplitudes nearby systolic pressure in relation to a pressure variation of the pinch cuff. The microprocessor is configured for the real-time processing of a number of pulse delay periods representing the pulse delay periods between the pulse waves and the respective AC pressure signals during the variable pulse delay period to the fixed pulse delay period, and the respective pressure of the pinch cuff to determine a diastolic pressure from the time characteristic of the pulse delay periods between the pulse wave and the respective AC air pressure signals nearby diastolic pressure. What is disclosed is a method for the non-invasive blood pressure measurement.
