FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: high-voltage input device contains a current conductor in the form of a rod with a thread at both ends, oriented along the axis in a cylindrical dielectric tube made of quartz glass, equipped with devices for connecting to buses on both sides. The high voltage input device is equipped with crimping, limited by studs fixed between two flanges. One of the flanges has a diameter greater than the diameter of the pipe and is made with the possibility of fastening to the mating flange of the high-voltage insulator box through a gasket. Both ends of the dielectric pipe are closed with metal washers. The rigidity of the structure is ensured by cap nuts on the conductor rod. Graphite cord is wound around the pipe throughout the entire length of the crimping tool. In the free, i.e., in a state of complete non-compression, the winding is fixed with staples of electrically conductive material.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the device.
