FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: insulating cover for battery module terminals that can be used when a series of battery cells is required for a higher output supply voltage, and it is necessary to close and insulate the terminal for safe operation during the assembly process. The insulating cover contains a connecting part, including a terminal, an overlay plate covering the upper part of the installation space, and a connector with which the overlay plate may be connected so as to maintain the covering state of the upper part of the installation space, or not connected, whereas the bottom plate, the side plate and the overlay plate are formed by stamping the plate in the form of a shaped element of synthetic resin material in an expanded form, in which the first and a second folding line to facilitate folding are formed in each of the connecting portions of the bottom plate, the side plate, and the cover plate. EFFECT: improving the reliability of the battery module by protecting the terminals from external influences.
