FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions in pharmaceutical industry relates to a method for producing a pharmaceutical composition, a composition obtained by this method, and its use for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The proposed method for obtaining the composition includes obtaining pantoprazole granules by successive application using a fluidized bed at 40–50°C three different coating solutions on inert core spheres of sucrose or microcrystalline cellulose, obtaining acetylsalicylic acid granules and magnesium hydroxide granules coated with a gastric soluble moisture barrier. The resulting granules are mixed, powdered with glidant, then gelatine capsules and filled with these granules. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition obtained by the above method, which includes, in mg/capsule: acetylsalicylic acid 65–85, pantoprazole 10–30, magnesium hydroxide 10–20, core-spheres 100–150, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 20–30, methacrylic acid polymer 40–70, polyvinylpyrrolidone 5–25, mannitol 60–120, dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate 40–70, talc 5–10, and the use of such a composition for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

EFFECT: obtaining a composition that contains in one dosage form granules of three active substances — acetylsalicylic acid (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), pantoprazole (proton pump inhibitor) and magnesium hydroxide (antacid) with improved release, thereby providing improved oral bioavailability.
