FIELD: oxide superconducting wire and superconducting coil.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an oxide superconducting wire and superconducting coil. A superconducting wire contains a superconducting layered structure comprising a substrate, an oxide superconducting layer and a stabilizing copper coating layer formed around the superconducting layered structure. The thickness of the stabiliser layer ranges from 2 to 100 µm and the ratio of the stabiliser layer outer surface average roughness to the stabiliser layer thickness ranges from 0.005 to 0.03. The the stabiliser layer thickness is wtihin the range of 10 to 40 µm. The ratio (Ic/Ic0) of the critical current (Ic) after repeating the tensile test for 100000 times to the initial critical current (Ic0) measured before the tensile test is 0.99 or more.
EFFECT: invention provides for increasing resistance to repeated application of tensile force.
