SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering. Superconducting wire comprising superconducting layered structure including a substrate and an intermediate layer, a superconducting layer and a stabilizing metal layer which are laminated on a substrate; and an insulating cover layer covering the outer surface of the superconducting layered structure and formed by sintering of a resin material. Maximum height Rz of at least a part of the outer surface of the superconducting layer structure with an insulating coating layer is 890 nm or less.
EFFECT: increased conductivity wires by eliminating the separation of its structure.
