FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to high-speed mechanical two-rotor pumps. The pump contains a housing 1, a rotor shaft 3 connected to an electric motor, and a magnetic fluid seal. The magnetic fluid seal is installed in the housing 1 in the shaft zone 3 and includes a permanent magnet 4, pole tips 5, 6, a magnetic sleeve 9 with a cylindrical protrusion 8. In the tips 5, 6, on the lower half of the inner surfaces facing each other, annular grooves of triangular cross-section are formed. Gaps are made between the tips 5, 6 and the side surfaces of the lower half of the protrusion 8. The magnetic fluid is placed around the teeth of the tips 5, 6 with the formation of sealed jumpers. The sleeve 9 is hermetically fixed to the shaft 3. On the atmospheric pressure side, a cylindrical recess 12 is made in the upper half of the protrusion 8 with a height reaching the upper tooth of the outer tip 5.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design, increasing the reliability and service life of the pump at high vacuum volume pumping speeds.
