SUBSTANCE: water drainage plant operation is controlled by adjusting feed of air into suction pipeline 2 of pump 1. Note here that delivery Q of pump 1 and pump drive consumed power P are measured to determine specific electric power consumption E=P/Q and to vary flow section of pipeline 3 by extreme regulator 6 to set up operating conditions that correspond to minimum specific power consumption.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
