FIELD: flame burners; rotary kilns.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a housing, coaxial pipes forming a central and peripheral gaseous fuel supply channels, ending, respectively, with a central nozzle and rows of peripheral nozzles for gas outlet with separate supply of this gas to the central nozzle or to the rows of peripheral nozzles. A distributor of gaseous fuel supplied to the burner is mounted in the central channel, along the axis of the coaxial pipes, and it has a cylindrical chamber with holes for supplying gaseous fuel into it, which ends on both sides with diffusers facing the tops into this chamber, while the distributor also contains a pair of cones facing peaks inside the cylindrical chamber, rigidly connected to each other by a rod moving along the axis of this chamber, a pair of rigidly connected cones is made with the possibility of completely blocking the flow of gaseous fuel entering the chamber when the flow leaving the chamber is fully opened, carried out by entering one of the cones into the diffuser on one side of the chamber while the other exits the diffuser on the other side of the chamber.
EFFECT: smooth adjustment of the length of the burner flame for heating the rotary kiln within the range from 12 to 16 m without changing the fuel consumption.
