FIELD: testing.

SUBSTANCE: devices for monitoring the tightness of hollow products. The device comprises a vacuum chamber (1) tightly divided by an elastic partition (2) into an active volume (3) and an auxiliary volume (4). The auxiliary volume (4) is greater than or equal to the active volume (3). The active volume (3) and the auxiliary volume (4) are connected by a vacuum pipeline (5) equipped with a vacuum seal (6) and an inlet valve (17). The auxiliary volume (4) is connected to the vacuum pumping station (16) by the main and bypass pumping lines. The main pumping line consists of the main vacuum pipeline (12) with a vacuum seal (13) and a vacuum valve (15). The bypass pumping line consists of a bypass vacuum line (22) with a bypass vacuum valve (14). A helium mass spectrometric leak detector (18) is connected to the main vacuum pipeline (12). Helium-pressurized test item (7) is mounted through a loading window (8) on a stand (9) equipped with a built-in electric heater connected to a temperature control and maintenance unit (10). A pressure sensor (11) is connected to the cavity of the test item (7). The pressure sensor (11), vacuum sensors (19, 20), as well as vacuum shutters and valves are controlled and monitored by a common monitoring and control unit (21).

EFFECT: simplification of device design, increase in device performance, increase in control reliability.
