FIELD: thermophysical measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermophysical measurements, namely to the measurement of radiant heat flux during thermal testing of aircraft elements in radiation heating installations. Claimed is a cooled heat flow sensor (HFS), made according to the Gordon scheme, containing a constantan sensitive element connected to a copper case, copper electrodes and a cooling device. The HFS and the cooling device are made as separate elements with the possibility of their assembly into a single whole due to the application of threads on the outer part of the HFS body. In the central part of the cooling device, there is a through hole with a thread equal to the thread on the HFS housing, which makes it possible to use the HFS housing as a fastener for assembling the components of the cooling device. The internal space in the HFS housing from the sensing element to the electrode outlet is filled with solid heat-insulating and electrically insulating material, and the differential thermocouple electrodes exit from the housing through an adhesive medium that fixes the position of the electrodes and electrical insulation relative to the HFS housing.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of heat flow measurements during thermal testing of aircraft elements in radiation heating installations.
