FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to determine the places of damage in underwater cable transmission lines. Essence: the device for determining the location of damage to the underwater cable contains a lead container, a pulse meter, a radiotelephone, a remote control unit equipped with a remote control button “Lock”, a source of radioactive emission installed in a lead container, a breech mechanism. The lead container is fixed in a retaining frame, in the lower part of which a frame antenna is installed, the axis of which is perpendicular to the bottom surface. An autonomous control unit is mounted on the outside of the lead container. The device is equipped with a submersible platform, in the lower part of which a lead container is fixed. A search echo sounder is installed in the lower part of the lead lid of the container. The retaining frame is combined with the housing of the submersible platform and is made in the form of a single welded structure. A three-axis manipulator is attached to the lower left edge of the housing of the submersible platform, at the end of the boom of which there is a system for marking the place of cable damage, consisting of a pop-up buoy and a winch with a cable. A manipulator with a video camera is fixed on the left side of the outer part of the housing of the submersible platform, and a directional servo is installed in the upper part of the housing of the submersible platform, to which a pitch servo is attached by means of an intermediate frame, on the axis of which a water jet engine is installed. Four platform position sensors are placed in the lower corners of the submersible platform housing, and an electronic platform position control unit is installed inside the upper part of the submersible platform housing. The device is also equipped with joysticks for controlling the position of the platform and a three-axis manipulator.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of determining the location of damage to the underwater cable.
