FIELD: waste processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and biotechnology, in particular, to methods for processing agricultural waste. The method for biological treatment of agricultural waste consists in obtaining the eggs of Hermetia illucens flies, incubating the eggs and breeding the larvae on nutrient medium. The larvae are removed and used to populate the agricultural waste, the waste undergoes bioconversion, and the biomass of the larvae is separated from the resulting organic compost. A grain-based nutrient mixture or a food waste-based mixture is used as a nutrient medium for breeding the larvae. The larvae are removed at the age of 3 days, used to populate the agricultural waste at a density of 150 g larvae per 5 kg waste. The bioconversion of waste continues for 12 to 15 days. Prior to releasing larvae onto the waste, the waste is treated with Bacillus subtilis, placed in a dark place and stored for 30 days at a temperature of 22 °C, followed by diluting with water to a moisture content of 75 to 80%.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of the method for processing organic waste due to the increase in the yield of larval biomass, with the reduced labour intensity of releasing larvae onto the substrate.
