FIELD: ceramics production.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing high-temperature ceramics based on yttrium oxide includes mixing particles of yttrium oxide with a binder, moulding products, drying and annealing. Yttrium oxide particles are a mixture of yttrium oxide powder with a particle size of 0.002 mm in an amount of 9-18% by weight, yttrium oxide granules with a particle size of 0.05-0.15 mm in an amount of 63-72% by weight and yttrium oxide granules with particle size 1.0-1.5 mm in an amount of 12-21% by weight, and the granules of yttrium oxide are obtained by crushing the material obtained by melting the powder of yttrium oxide by the skull method in a crucible with a cooling water temperature of 22-32°C, and sieving the resulting crushed material through sieves with appropriate mesh sizes. The binder is an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol with a polyvinyl alcohol concentration of 1-8% by weight. Drying of products is carried out at a temperature of 120-300°C, annealing in air - at a temperature of 1250-1300°C and annealing by resistive heating in a high vacuum of 10-3-10-5 Pa at a temperature of 1900-2000°C.

EFFECT: increasing resistance of products to high temperatures.
