FIELD: the invention refers to the field of laser location.
SUBSTANCE: the technical result is providing possibility of measuring current coordinates and speed primarily of low-flying cruise missiles with a Doppler coherent locator with continuous unmodulated radiation. The location mode is based upon sounding of a diffraction limited object moving over the surface of a sea(an ocean), unmodulated radiation of a fixed frequency laser of continuous action and multi-channel coherent processing of received radiation with a matrix photo receiving arrangement with definition of Doppler frequency shifts in back-scattered radiation and with following multi-channel parallel mating filtration of separated radio signals. At that the radiation reflected from several glares from the sea surface incoming on the photo receiving matrix from different at will distributed angular directions is additionally and simultaneously subjected to coherent reception and processing. Doppler frequency shifts in the radiation received from the sea surface glares and corresponding angular coordinates of these glares are defined in corresponding channels connected with the matrix photo receiving arrangement. The current coordinates of the location of the object and its true speed are calculated and received results of calculations of all totality of combined measuring of the indicated parameters are also statistically averaged.
EFFECT: possibility of measuring of current coordinates and speed of low-flying cruise missiles.
