FIELD: flaw detection.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of flaw detection of railway wheel pairs. The essence of inventions consists in that a combination of the first coil device stationary located relatively to a wheel to be controlled for magnetization and control of the wheel at sections and the second coil device made with the possibility of displacement in an axial direction relatively to an axis to be controlled for magnetization and control of the wheel axis at periphery sections is used. For implementation of full control of the wheel, it is rotated after each control of a wheel section. Control of the wheel axis is implemented using the second coil device in positions located sequentially one after the other in the axial direction at periphery sections, respectively. Magnetization and control of wheels and axes of wheel pairs can be implemented simultaneously or one after the other.
EFFECT: reduction in labor costs for control and provision of control automation.
