FIELD: image encoding/decoding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for processing a video signal. Image decoding includes stages, at which: residual coefficients of the current block are obtained; reverse quantization of residual coefficients is performed; secondary reverse conversion is performed relatively to reverse-quantized residual coefficients, and primary reverse conversion is performed relatively to the result of secondary reverse conversion. Secondary reverse conversion can be performed for a partial region of the current block.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of image encoding/decoding.
